Very worrying story in the Non League Paper today, linking Alan Devonshire with the vacant Aldershot Town job. With players being loaned out to various clubs while we are in desperate need of more experience on the bench, I suspect that the wage bill is being reduced? I hope the club have everything under control and that on Tuesday night the home crowd turn up in numbers and show Devs how appreciated he is. Losing him at a time when the crowds are falling and enthusiasm from everyone seems very low would not bode well.

Could be worse; we could've ended up with Tim Sherwood.

The non league paper is a good one if you take the speculation in it with a tablespoon of salt.

To be fair this would be a good one for him, closer to his home and would have a bigger budget to work with. Although BTFC are a far more stable club IMHO.

I thought Dev's lived Enfield way that's closer to Braintree than to Aldershot.
