No ifs or buts about it, Saturdays game being postponed was a disgrace as Macclesfield at home was postponed due to bad weather for the second season in a row because in football any fixture being postponed due to bad weather two or more seasons in a row is nothing but a disgrace.

I hang my head in shame and promise it won't happen again. I consider myself thoroughly told off. Lol

wills, are you aware of the concept of weather? and the fact we have zero control over it? sure, its not ideal having to postpone a game. However, it was done in the best possible way. The opposition club were informed the game was in the balance in plenty of time. The pitch inspection was carried out as soon as it was light so that the opposition wouldnt make a wasted journey. The club did what they could to get the game on after very poor weather conditions, and informed those who needed to know as soon as humanly possible that the game wouldnt go ahead. The fact that is happened to be a club whose game at braintree was also called off last season is entirely irrelevent.
if anything, i would have thought you would have been congratulating the club on having far fewer postponements so far.

Perhaps next time a match is in doubt because of a frozen pitch wills could volunteer to blow hot air on it so that the game can go ahead.

Or the club could get undersoil heating put in 700,000 is the cost for undersoil heating. where do you suppose a club with a sub 1000 supporter base is going to find that sort of money??

oh and that doesnt include the running costs that ive seen quoted at around £3500 for 2 days use. thats not sustainable for many clubs outside the top 2 divisions, let alone a part time club in the conference.

Don't bite Coludave.
Definition of a Troll = a troll (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people,[1] by posting inflammatory,[2] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[3] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.
That's you hiding behind an alias, Sad Troll that you are.

I've not bitten, just find it quite amusing how some bite when quite obviously we should all realise by now that good ol wills is just a piss taking troll who's looking for people to bite

i could be wrong, but i think Wills might be autistic rather than a troll. he has an odd view point, but his reasoning behind it kind of stacks up.
im sure someone on here last year said that will had been on other clubs forums who'd had similar pitch issues. perhaps this is just a manifestation of a preoccupation with pitches based on the media suggesting that there is enough money in the game today that they should all be good throughout the season.
