DEVS ADDS TO SQUAD Striker moves to Cressing Road Braintree Town manager Alan Devonshire has added striker Simeon Akinola for an undisclosed fee from Ryman League side Harrow Borough. The 22-year old forward started his youth career in Madrid before coming to the UK, where he spent a year at Boreham Wood and two years at Earlsmead. Devs was delighted with his latest signing: "A great acquisition to the squad, Simeon gives us something different up front. I've watched him a few times and he has great potential."
Looked good in training should be on bench Saturday.
Have a look at this.

Agree with you Oz as it's a big step up for the lad, but in Devs we trust particularly as we had to pay a fee for him.

"He gives us something different up front", does this mean he scores goals? We now have 6 strikers on the books.

I would be very surprised if the lad does not start wide. This is his best position.

The lad's best position is as a wide player.
