The Enfield Club has made the following statement:

Tuesday 26th August 2014
Enfield Town Football Club statement Following the 2-3 defeat at home to Wingate and Finchley on Monday 25th August, Enfield Town FC and manager George Borg have parted company.
Assistant Manager Bradley Quinton will be in charge of the team for next Saturday’s trip to Hendon and until further notice.
The club will be making no further comment at this time, but will issue a further statement in due course.

ETFC could do a lot worse than appoint Brad. A great servant for our Club who has learnt an enormous amount over the 14 years with us, having worked with a number of excellent managers.
