The 100 Club is 3yrs old this week and together with the IGDF (set up by Gordon Humphries) has raised almost £15K over that period. Our recent purchase of 2 training goals in time for the new season is the latest in a list of essential items provided to BTFC by the Club.
Others include: 1) New radios/chargers etc for the stewards. 2) Equipment to aid cleaning the terraces etc after match days. 3) Professional kit box for the teams strip for away matches.
I am pleased that the majority of members have already renewed their pledges for the coming season, but new members are always needed if we are to continue progressing. In order to join you are required to pledge £100 to the club during the course of the season and that can be paid in whatever way suits you best, either by a lump sum or by weekly/monthly instalmemts.
If you are interested in joining or would like more information I am usually in the Club house on match days and would be pleased to see you there.
Looking forward to another successful season both on and off the pitch. COYI

Pleased to report several new members to the Club, but as IW says above the more we have the better it will be.
Several people have asked me the aim of the Club, and in a nutshell we are providing equipment (see original post) that would otherwise be funded by BTFC but as we purchase it on behalf of the club instead, it means there are more funds available to help with Devs playing budget.

Our thanks go to S.R. COOPER LTD for once again sponsoring a £75 monthly meat prize draw.
The 1st draw will take place before our home game with Barnet on Tuesday 30th September, and I remind members that your pledges must be upto date in order to be entered in the draw. Also a special mention for Bobby Ritchie who has recruited several new members.
We are in the process of purchasing another kit box for BTFC, this one for kit man Dave Green to be able to put all the training and warm up gear in, keeping the original kit box separate for the match strip.

Unless we get a home draw in the FA Cup on the 25th, Saturdays match with Southport will be our only home game this month.
Therefore those members that pay monthly will need to bring their pledges upto date tomorrow in order to qualify for Octobers monthly prize draw.
Unfortunately I am unable to attend the game, but Alan Robson will be available in the Club House at HALF TIME to receive your monies.

Another successful season for the IRON and also the 100 Club which this year had more members than ever before. Many thanks to all the members and I hope you will all join again next season and continue to help the Club move forward.
We have already purchased this year training goals and a 2nd kit box for Dave Green, but still end the season with a healthy balance in the bank, and are currently looking at several requests for funding and more news on that when we have it.
The February and March winners of the monthly prize draw have been notified and once more we thank S.R.COOPER LTD for sponsoring us. I hope we will be able to continue the draw again next season. Anyone wanting more info about the 100 Club and its objectives can message me on the forum or drop me an e-mail at les.clear@aol.co.uk.

The 100 Club have made a substantial contribution towards the cost of a brand new State of the Art pitch maintenance machine.
It is the same as used by many Premier league clubs, and as well as cutting the grass to the desired level it has other features to keep the pitch in the best possible condition. Bobby and Steve are delighted with this equipment, and it will be delivered in time to get the pitch ready for the new season. They also wish to thank the 100 Club members for their valuable help in being able to purchase the machine.
