BRAD QUINTON TESTIMONIAL ON TUESDAY
Braintree Town v Ipswich Town
This coming Tuesday evening, 22nd July we will be entertaining an Ipswich Town XI. The match will be a testimonial game for long-serving player Brad Quinton who has reluctantly had to retire from the game after making 546 appearances for the Club. Brad will be playing on Tuesday evening and all Iron supporters are invited to show their appreciation for a true Braintree Town man. Kick-off is 7.30pm and admission prices for the game, which is pay at the turnstiles on the day, are as follows: £10 for adults, £7 for OAPs and those still in full time education, £5 for under 16s and £3 for under 11s.

Don't normally do friendlies but I am making an exception tonight to say thank you to a great servant to Braintree Town. Find it a bit sad that there are Three threads about Brad and the testimonial and only Four posts in total, I hope there is a decent turnout tonight.

Can't believe the lack of publicity this game has been given...... I know it was under wraps for a while, but unless you see a copy of last weeks brain n wit or look on here then you wouldn't know the game was going ahead....... The club need to improve publicity which in turn will increase attendances- word of mouth and social media can only reach certain people!

Looks like people agree and we should sign the trialist brothers from last night!! ( Sorry still no names so that will do for now) Hope we bashing the clarets tonight. Surprised none of their idiots have appeared on here yet with something to say.

Great to see all those ex Iron names back in action again. A great tribute to Brad that they should all make the effort. And imv 400 is not a bad figure for a hastily arranged friendly.
A pity Paul Lorraine wasn't there. He might solve a problem or two
