CONFERENCE FIXTURES OUT ON FRIDAY
Conference office announce - distribution next week
The Football Conference have announced that the fixtures for 2014/15 will be available from 3pm on Friday 4 July. Though originally scheduled for Monday 7 July, this change of release date will allow five full weeks for fans to take advantage of special travel offers. Caution is advised though in respect of Premier Division fixtures, as BT Sport will as soon as practicable, be selecting their first pick of LIVE matches as part of up to 30 Football Conference Premier Division fixtures to be screened by our broadcast partner during 2014/15
TWO MORE FRIENDLIES
Iron add two more - away pre-season trips
Iron have added two more pre-season friendlies to their schedule. Braintree have provisionally agreed to play an away friendly on Wednesday 23rd July, with the game still to be confirmed. However, the Club have confirmed that they will send a side to visit Ryman League side Kingstonian on Monday, 28th July. More news when we have it!
Braintree Town's pre-season schedule is as follows:
Saturday 12 July - away v Stanway Rovers, kick-off: 11.30am, away v Long Melford, kick-off 3pm.
Tuesday 15 July - home v Norwich City, kick-off 7.45pm.
Saturday 19 July - home v Southend United, kick-off: 1pm
Tuesday 22 July - away v Peterborough Northern Star, kick-off: 7.45pm
Wednesday 23 July - away v TBC, kick-off: 7.45pm
Saturday 26 July - home v Cambridge United, kick-off: 3pm
Monday 28 July - away v Kingstonian, kick-off: 7.45pm
Tuesday 29 July - home v West Ham United XI, kick-off: 7.45pm
