My Facebook page shows a statement from the club re criminal damage to club facilities after the Salisbury game and that it may effect tomorrows match. The club knows who did it; so why not report it to the police? Was it Wills?

If as suggested it was the ref, he obviously has some mental health issues. Therefore was not fit to referee the game, so is should be replayed.

The ref responded in very unprofessional manner after receiving a torrent of abuse and as stated elsewhere was allegedly spat at.....
Whilst I don't condone the spitting incident he deserved all the other abuse he received for acting in a completely unprofessional manner throughout the 90 minutes of play and highlighted even more his lack of quality and understanding of his responsibility as an official of the league by the way that he has lost his cool in the dressing room!!
I for 1 would like to see the club proceed with prosecuting him, as it was reckless and completely unacceptable....... I hope the FA throw the book at him and end his inclusion in the list of conference officials - I would like to think that he will never be able to referee again at any level as who knows what he might do in the future if he is allowed to continue!!

....and presumably whoever 'allegedly' spat at him will be hung out to dry too...?

The safety officer has stated that if the person who 'Spat' is identified then they will receive a stadium ban!!! Without TV evidence can't see anybody coming forward!!!

Can confirm we are currently looking into the allegation of spitting. We do take this sort of thing very seriously.
Anyone found guilty of such action will be dealt with as described by our Safety Officer.

Colin Lymer was referee today for Cambridge v Hyde. He got away with it.

If Atwell is still being allowed to Referee then Lymer has no worries. They seem fireproof to no matter how bad they officiate.
