Braintree 0-0 Colchester (last Saturday) - crowd 711 Chelmsford 0-1 Colchester (last night) - crowd 278. We drew with their first team, while Chelmo lost to their squad side. Remind me again, which of our two clubs has the better squad and biggest fan base?

Your obsession with us is embarressing and I bet even your own fans get bored with you only ever posting about Chelmsford. You really do have a massive chip on your shoulder when it comes to all things Chelmsford City.
If you seriously think you have a bigger fanbase than us you are deluded. Not that it makes one difference to results on the pitch.
We'll just have to see who has the better squad. I won't know until April 2011 when the season finishes. Our's wasn't a full strength team either last night.
I wish Braintree good luck next season and I hope you don't falter at the last and make the play offs this time. It's good to have a few Essex sides doing well in their respective leagues given the troubles at Southend and Grays of late.

If you're going to apply the childish messageboard etiquette typified on the Conference South and National messageboards, my response would have been more of a chomp than a whoosh.

I don't think the results of the two friendlies in question will make any difference to how the season pans out.

Oh, and at the risk of incurring another whoosh or chomp type contribution from t'other side of Great Leighs, I understand the 'big city club' have got some mobile tin sheds with roofing coming this season. How quaint. Me? I like concrete and foundations under my feet.

I do wonder Chelmsfordiron that by you very name suggests that you may be confused. I seems to me that you may well dislike Chelmsford more than you like Braintree. Please give up your obsession with Chelmsford on this forum
